$2,118 towards $3,000

Help us make sure no one sleeps outside in Evanston's cold weather this winter.

Interfaith Action of Evanston's Emergency Overnight Shelter provides a safe and warm place to for our homeless neighbors to sleep at six Evanston churches/synagogues (including Beth Emet) during the winter months. The cost to run the program is more than $70,000 each year. Funds help pay for cots, bedding, laundry, snacks, warm beverages, and paid supervisory staff.

Please make a donation and help Beth Emet meet its goal for Interfaith Action of Evanston's Walk for Warmth.

The two-mile family-friendly Walk for Warmth starts and ends at First United Methodist Church, 516 Church St., and is scheduled from 11:00 am - 1:30 pm. We will walk to six of the locations that generously provide space for the shelter in three-week rotations throughout the winter. One of the locations we visit will be set up to shelter guests on that evening. Hope to see you on January 20th! Bundle up!

Thanks.
