Your Walk for Warmth donation is important for providing shelter for our homeless neighbors in Evanston during the cold winter months. The goal of Interfaith Action of Evanston is for the emergency overnight shelter to be open every night this winter from November 15th through March 31st. Help us make sure this goal is met and the shelter doors are kept open!
Will you join us on the Walk for Warmth on January 20th to help raise awareness of homelessness in Evanston? The 2-mile family-friendly walk starts and ends at First United Methodist Church, 516 Church St., and is scheduled from 11 am - 1:30 pm. We will walk to the six locations that generously provide space for the shelter in 3-week rotations throughout the winter. One of the locations we visit will be set up to shelter guests on that evening. Hope to see you on January 20th! Bundle up. Please make your online donation first, click the back button on your browser twice to return to this page and register to walk.
